AMD Replaces Disk with Solid-State Arrays

WhipTail, maker of high-performance, cost-effective solid-state storage arrays, announced that AMD’s (NYSE: AMD) System Optimization Engineering Department has replaced 480 15K spinning drives with WhipTail solid-state storage arrays.
